Team Information

The University of York currently has 6 teams (4 Men's and 2 Women's), M1, M2, M3, W1 and W2 play in BUCS while M4 is a Development Team.

M3, M4, W1 and W2 train once a week with the York Sport Tennis Centre's head coach and once as a team, while M1 and M2 train 2 times a week for longer. There is then the option of playing an extra four times a week during open sessions with other squads.

There will also be optional, weekly Strength and Conditions sessions for all team members.

The team membership this year amounts to £80 + £20 AU fee which must be paid at the beginning of the academic year. This price includes the following:

Equipment
Coaching and Court Bookings
Entry to BUCS leagues
Transport to and from matches
VIP Card for free entry to Salvation (limited availability)
Access to cheap re-stringing

Team Trials

Team trials for the coming academic year, 2017-2018, will take place on Sunday 1st October for Men and Monday 2nd October for Women. See Facebook Page for Events. You must only attend a SINGLE ONE HOUR SLOT. To sign up for a slot, visit us at freshers fair! If you don’t make it to freshers fair, don’t worry, you can turn up to any slot, or contact us online to sign up. **NOTE** if you do not sign up for a slot and the time you turn up to is very busy, you might have to wait for a different one.
