Our BUCS story so far.

For the past few weeks, our five (fabulous) teams have been hitting many a ball every Wednesday. Competing in various BUCS leagues around the country. How have they been getting on?

14th October- The first BUCS Wednesday of the academic year! :

-The Women's 1s beat York St John rivals in the York derby 10-2!

The Women's 2s played their FIRST EVER set of matches today, in a loss to Leeds. Good things to come from our new team, no doubt.

-The Men’s 1s won their fixture 10-0! bravo

-The Men's 2s unfortunately lost to Leeds Beckett in some pretty windy conditions.

-The Men's 3s drew away with Sunderland 6-6.

21st October:

-The Women's 2s lost to Huddersfield, in what was a sauna of a tennis dome. Though, more good tennis on show from our new team!

-The Men's 2s lost to Sunderland. I hear they have awful courts. So, you know, wha you gonna do eh?

-The Men's 1s continued their winning run, beating Sheffield 8-4!

-And the Men's 3s drew 6-6 with Hull, they continue their unbeaten run!

28th October:

-Just the one set of fixtures was played this week. A huge well done to to UYTC Men's 2s, who beat Bradford 1s 10-0!

2nd November:

-The Women's 1s beat the Women's 2s in a York on York battle...and York won! - ha

-The Men's 2s drew 6-6 in their fixture, building on their win the week before.

-The Men's 3s lost to Leeds Beckett.

-The Men’s 1s lost their first fixture of the campaign, in an 8-4 loss to Leeds.
